DegCom is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.

We have adopted the Indonesian Personal Data Protection (PDP). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

We gather information about you both directly from you and from third parties, as well as automatically when you interact with our Site or Functionality.

Information Automatically Collected:

  • Usage details, such as your browser type, operating system, the web pages you link your wallet to, the site that directed you to us, and general location at the country level.

  • DegCom does not automatically collect or retain personally identifying data such as your IP address.

Information Collected Directly from You:

  • You may explore the Site without registering or sharing personal information. However, specific information is gathered from you as outlined below for the purposes listed:

    • Publicly available information, including your digital asset wallet address and public blockchain data, is used solely to enhance the Functionality and ensure compliance with relevant laws.

    • Contact details and other information related to your use of the Site or Functionality (if provided) may be collected through customer support interactions or survey responses.

    • Although not necessary to access the Site or Functionality, you may opt to share your email or Telegram handle to participate in promotional activities or receive updates on product launches.

    • Your Telegram handle is required to use the DegCom Bot, and this information is stored on our servers.

    • If you opt to use the email recovery feature via Turnkey, this recovery data is stored on Turnkey’s servers.

Furthermore, if you provide us with personal data of third parties, it is your responsibility to ensure you have obtained all necessary permissions and consents (including explicit consent from the third party). You must also ensure that our use of this data complies with applicable laws and regulations. If the third party withdraws consent, you are required to notify us immediately.

How We Use the Information We Collect

Some help you navigate our Site and Functionality more smoothly, while others streamline the login process or allow us to track your activities. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.

DegCom will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

To protect your Personal Information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information

It is important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
